Methods of payments: We accept all major credit cards.
A credit card on file is mandatory to secure every ride reservation. If the credit card is declined, it is the responsibility of the client to remit payment to Getting Around within 5 days, and $50.00 late payment fee applies. Cash or credit card on spot, or credit card on file.
Booking transfers: Payment may be charged one day prior to trip date, during the trip or at any time after the service has been provided.
Booking hourly or group services: On booking date a deposit in the amount of 50% of the total of your fare will be charged on your credit card on file. The remaining balance will be due one day prior to the trip date, during the trip or after the service has been provided.
All deposits: Are Nonrefundable after your reservation has been confirmed. Getting Around is not liable in the event of vehicle mechanical breakdown while on charter and will only be responsible for making up lost time at a mutually agreed date.
Grace Period: There is a grace period of up to 5 minutes for anywhere pickups, except airports pickups; Domestic flight, 25 minutes, and International flights 35 minutes. In the event of grace period has elapsed and the client didn’t contact our office/driver or disagreed with additional extra waiting time fee of $1 per minute, our driver will depart of pick-up location and the client will still be liable for full-service fare payment.
Pick Up Time: It begins at the time you have scheduled to be picked up. You MUST be ready to depart at the time scheduled. Failure to do so will result in an additional extra waiting time fee ($ 1 per minute). We are not to be responsible for delays due to bad traffic or inclement weather conditions.
Communication private policy:
Passengers’ contact information will be used for the sole purpose of notification related to their trips. No mobile information will be shared with third parties and affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. information sharing to subcontractors in support service, such customer service is permitted. All others use case categories, exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
Lost and Found: Getting Around will not be responsible for articles left in any vehicle but if we find any items, we will call the account holder to advise. The client is responsible for picking up any lost items. For dropping off lost items, charges may apply.
Safety: Vehicles cannot be loaded beyond seating capacity, as described for each vehicle in our reservation system, as it is illegal and unsafe.
Prohibited: Drug use is not allowed by law and will not be tolerated by our drivers. Smoking, vaping, drinking alcohol/open container and eating is not allowed in our vehicles. Eating Exception may apply for long trips of 3 hours or more.
Pet/Animal Fee: If you’re traveling with a pet/animal, you must request from our office, at the time of booking a reservation, for animal accommodation. All pets, except service dogs, must be in a crate/carrier at all times while in our vehicles. A $30 non-refundable pet-cleaning fee will be applied to your reservation.
Cancellation Fee: A $30 cancellation fee is applied to all reservations being cancelled at any time after reservation has been confirmed.
Car seats Fee: Children 5 years old and younger only can travel in our vehicles in proper car seats. By request we can provide proper car seat at $10 each per trip rental.
Extra Stop Fee: By request to our office, we may accommodate extra stops to your original, at a fee of $15 for every single stop of up to 5 minutes, and $1 per minute after.
Vehicles Damaged Fee: The client assumes full financial liability for any damage to the vehicle caused during the duration of the reservation by them or any members of their party. In the event anyone in the client's party is to become ill; A cleaning fee in the amount of $350.00 will be charged to the credit card on file.
After Hours Fee: There is 20% after-hours fee charge for rides between 10 PM and 5AM.
Driver Gratuity: We firmly believe in rewarding our drivers for their professionalism and job well done! Tipping is one of the best ways to show appreciation. Drivers are 1/3 of the heart of our company and it is because of them that we maintain a flawless service record. A fee of 20% standard as driver gratuity, will be charged to your credit card on file if no cash or offline tip was reported from the driver.
